GigGo
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information GigGo collects and how it is used to provide local job matching.
Effective September 8, 2026
Information we collect
We collect account information received through ChatGPT sign-in, profile details you provide, job postings, match requests, match-cancellation reasons and dates, completion confirmations, ratings and reviews, job-problem reports and responses, messages and notifications, availability, location details such as city, state, or ZIP code, and self-reported license information.
If you turn on background alerts, GigGo stores the device subscription endpoint, delivery encryption keys, optional expiration time, and browser identification needed to route encrypted notifications to that device.
When you purchase credits, Stripe processes the payment. GigGo receives transaction status and purchase details needed to add credits, but does not receive or store your complete card number.
Optional identity verification
You may choose to complete an optional government-ID and matching-selfie check provided by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes the identification information and images needed to perform that check. GigGo stores only the verification-session reference, result, status details, and verification date; GigGo does not receive or store your identification images or identification number.
The check is optional and is not used to determine immigration status or authorization to work. You may use GigGo without completing it. Stripe handles verification information under its own privacy terms.
How we use information
- Operate profiles, job postings, matching, notifications, and credit balances.
- Show appropriate profile and job information to people using the marketplace.
- Document and review job problems, prevent misuse, investigate concerns, secure accounts, and comply with law.
- Respond to support, payment, privacy, and safety requests.
When information is shared
Job and profile information is shared with other users as needed for matching. Ratings and review counts may appear on profiles and listings. An identity-verification result may be shown as a badge on your profile or listings. Contact information remains restricted until the applicable user unlocks it. Information may also be shared with service providers that operate GigGo, including authentication, hosting, browser or operating-system push delivery, payment, and optional identity-verification providers, or when required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
GigGo does not sell personal information.
Your choices
You may update your profile and availability inside GigGo, and you may disable alerts through your browser or device settings. To request access or correction of your information, email giggosupport@gmail.com.
Account and data deletion
Open Profile → Delete your GigGo account, or visit the account deletion page in a browser. Sign in with the account you want to delete, review the effects, and confirm your request. You do not need to install the app or finish your profile. If you cannot sign in, email giggosupport@gmail.com from the email associated with your account.
After you confirm permanent deletion, your account closes to new activity and GigGo begins removing your data. App data is normally erased during the request. The page shows progress, a request reference, and a dated completion receipt. If cleanup is interrupted, use the retry button or contact support with your reference. An earlier request submitted through the request-only form requires a new confirmation on this page.
Account deletion covers your profile, photos, posted jobs, and associated match and message records. Unused credits become unavailable. Arrange any outstanding jobs and keep records you need before deletion. Deletion does not automatically refund purchases; the refund policy continues to apply, including rights that cannot be waived.
GigGo removes your profile photo from its storage and deletes your account and associated application, review, message, notification, saved-job, block, and report records. If you used optional Stripe identity verification, GigGo requests erasure of the verification sessions and associated identity data. Stripe can take up to four days to finish. The receipt remains pending until provider cleanup completes. Contact support if it takes longer.
We retain a minimal deletion receipt containing the reference, dates, and hashed account identifiers to provide status, prevent duplicate processing, and prevent automatic account recreation and credit abuse. These hashes are pseudonymous identifiers, not a guarantee of anonymity. We retain transaction references, amounts, credit quantities, currency, and processing dates for payment reconciliation and fraud prevention; these retained records contain no profile name, email address, photo, or message text. Deletion does not delete your separate ChatGPT account or automatically erase financial records Stripe must retain. Copies already downloaded by others and hosting-provider backups may not disappear immediately.
Security and age limit
We use reasonable safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. GigGo is intended only for people age 18 or older and is not directed to children.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as GigGo changes. The effective date above will show the latest revision. Questions may be sent to giggosupport@gmail.com.
