GigGo
Terms of Service
These terms govern access to and use of GigGo by workers, customers, and businesses.
Effective September 7, 2026
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter contracts. You are responsible for accurate account information, activity under your account, and keeping access to your account secure.
Marketplace role
GigGo provides technology that helps independent users find one-day, part-time, full-time, or long-term work and find people offering services. GigGo is not an employer, employment agency, staffing agency, contractor, insurer, or party to agreements between users. Users decide whether, when, where, and on what terms to work together.
Safety and verification
GigGo does not conduct background checks or independently verify criminal history, references, qualifications, licenses, insurance, skills, statements, or conduct. A user may optionally complete a government-ID and matching-selfie check through Stripe. An “Identity verified” badge means only that this limited check succeeded. It does not establish immigration status, authorization to work, background history, trustworthiness, qualifications, skills, or licenses. License information is self-reported unless clearly identified otherwise. Each user must evaluate the other person, verify appropriate credentials, follow applicable laws, and take reasonable safety precautions.
Jobs and user conduct
You may not post or accept illegal, deceptive, unsafe, discriminatory, exploitative, or abusive work. You may not impersonate another person, misuse contact information, evade payment obligations, interfere with GigGo, or violate another person’s rights. We may remove content or restrict accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users.
Credits and payments
GigGo credits are digital access units used by workers and employers to unlock an accepted match’s contact information. Each person uses one credit when choosing to unlock the other person’s contact. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred, and are not wages or payment for work. Stripe processes credit purchases. Prices and the number of credits included are shown before checkout. Refund eligibility is described in the Refund Policy.
User arrangements and disputes
Users are responsible for their own negotiations, work, payment for work, taxes, licenses, insurance, employment eligibility or work-authorization obligations when applicable, conduct, cancellations, and disputes. GigGo does not ask users to state their immigration status, and an identity badge is not proof of authorization to work. GigGo does not guarantee that a job, worker, match, payment between users, or outcome will be available or satisfactory.
Before a scheduled job begins, either person may cancel an accepted match by selecting a reason. GigGo may notify the other person, retain the cancellation reason, time, and canceling role, and reopen the available job spot. After the scheduled start time, users should use the job-problem reporting tools when something goes wrong.
After a match is accepted, either user may create a dated job-problem record for a cancellation, no-show, incomplete work, payment disagreement, safety concern, or another issue. The other user may submit a response. GigGo may review these records for support, safety, fraud prevention, or enforcement, but a report does not prove that an allegation is true and does not guarantee mediation, payment, reimbursement, or any particular resolution.
Ratings and reviews
Only users connected through an accepted GigGo match may review one another, and reviews open after the employer marks the job complete and the worker confirms completion. Reviews must be honest, based on the user’s direct experience, and must not contain threats, harassment, discrimination, private information, or deceptive content. GigGo may remove reviews that violate these terms or misuse the service.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, GigGo is not responsible for user conduct, miscommunication, misrepresentation, disputes, theft, property damage, personal injury, loss, or illegal acts. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Continuing to use GigGo after an update means you accept the revised terms. Questions may be sent to giggosupport@gmail.com.
